Turn off tolls once in each app. Google Maps: Settings → Navigation → Avoid tolls. Waze: Settings → Navigation → Avoid toll roads. Apple Maps: iPhone Settings → Apps → Maps → Driving → Tolls off. Trip times already avoid tolls.

The map shows your provider’s network. Outside cities, Vodafone uses Optus towers. Signal levels are estimates, so check the official maps: Telstra · Optus · Vodafone.
